The new  Insectarium show you abundant of insects species. Come and know about insects, the most numerous species of animal kingdom. The Iinsects cover more than 80% of all animals. They live before human, and from 400 million years ago until today. They are the most successful animals on earth. More than one millions species have already been identified. They play the major role in the ecology of nature. No other group of living creature has such variety of form, colour, function, habitats.

The beetles, queen of insects. The bugs, the delight and despair of mankind. Bee, wasps, ants the social behavior insects. Grasshopper the biggest and amazing insects, like the stick insects and the moving leaf. Crickets and Cicadas the songs lovers insects. Moth the night butterflies.

After you tour through the Insectarium you will enter a door to the most beautiful picturesque garden in Phuket. A tranquil paradise where butterflies flutter by freely throughout the garden. You will find more than 40 various species of butterflies in their natural surrounding, well preserved. Enjoy the many kinds of trees & plants & flowers also that make up this beautiful green paradise. You will hear the sound of the Oriole & their rare & native birds of Thailand. You can even walk through the birds enclosure.

It is also an educational experience at the Phuket Butterfly Garden where you and your children will learn about the life cycle of the butterfly, difference between butterflies and moths. You will see live eggs, larvae & pupa as well as mating butterflies. You may even see a butterfly hatching. You will learn about breeding butterflies and see first hand the successful breeding of the dedicated staff at the butterfly farm.
At the Phuket Butterfly Farm you will be surprised to not only find many butterflies, but also insects, of the most unusual species, including Moving Leaf insects, Walking Stick insects, scorpions, a collection of beetles, an Iguana and even tarantulas and more. Come and see for yourself.

You can also relax and rest your legs near the carp pond, the dwelling place of hundreds carp fishes and their youngs. If you are lucky, you may even spot the large & unusual shell-less turtle swimming among the carps. Take in the beauty of the waterfall & the sounds of nature, unwind as your eyes rest to the views & visions of nature yet to be experienced.

The Butterfly Shop
After your tour through the Butterfly Garden & Insectarium, you will walk into the butterfly shop which has quite a good collection of butterfly crafts & Thai Artifacts where you can collect souvenirs to take home to your friends & families.
After your shopping, you can relax at the cafe where hot & cool drinks are available as well as snacks.
